If you areenrolled in,or have been admittedto,a programoutside both the U.S. and your home country,and your home country is not subject totheU.S. travel ban, you mustsubmitaGWI membership.However, if your home country is subject to the U.S. travel ban(Africa:Burkina Faso, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan;Middle East/Asia:Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Burma (Myanmar), Laos;Caribbean:Haiti; Individuals holding Palestinian Authority travel documents)and, as a result,you areunable to secure aU.S.student visa,youdo not need tosubmita GWI membership.
